Agile Organizational Development at OSP

Vincent Tietz

Agile Saxony at OSP on the topic of cultural change in the Otto Group

Part 1 – Impulses Cultural Transformation 4.0 in the Otto Group Through the cultural transformation, every single employee is asked, encouraged, and empowered to contribute their own ideas. Managers act as equals, support the implementation of tasks, and promote the assumption of responsibility. That’s the vision. How did it come about? What were and are the biggest challenges? What might the track record look like so far? Where is the journey heading? As a member of the central cultural transformation team at the Group headquarters in Hamburg, Theo Boitor will give us some interesting insights. Agile Organizational Development at OSP Cultural transformation sounds great. But how do we do justice to the complexity of the issues ahead and create solutions that the entire company can support sustainably? If employees are able to participate in decision-making, we need different options for decision-making and shaping the organization. At the beginning of last year, OSP launched an approach to organizational development based on agile methods, which Vincent Tietz will briefly present. Other OSP colleagues will share their experiences and impressions with us. Cultural Transformation for Managers in Customer Service – Enthusiasm and Resistance Are managers always aware of the crucial role they play in such a change? Are they the brake or the accelerator – self-reflection and a learning mindset are required. Steffen Seidel will share his perspective with us, based on his role as Head of the OTTO-RelationCenter Dresden in the cultural transformation process. Part 2 – Panel Discussion In the second part of the evening, we want to openly discuss the challenges and opportunities of new organizational forms with you in a fishbowl format. You will help shape the composition of the panel.
