International AI Transformation as Organizational Development: A Practical Case Study
·
#CDX26 - Culture Development Experience, Otto Group
More than just tech and tools – AI transformation is an ongoing organizational development process. Leadership, collaboration, strategic frameworks, and continuous learning are key. In our session, you’ll learn how we engage leadership teams in our AI journey, how we structure AI transformation across international locations, and how these teams continue to grow closer together through collaborative AI enablement. We’ll discuss which success factors and measures are interlinked, what challenges may arise, and how AI use cases actually get implemented.
Decision-making tools for teams
· · ·
Agile Dresden, 10/12/2020
Have you ever asked yourselves how you and your team can efficiently arrive at a good decision? And have you also ended up falling back on dot voting yet again in the end? Then you’re in exactly the right place here! Some teams have experienced that democratic majority decisions or the search for consensus are not always the best ways to make good decisions. Julia and Vincent from Otto Group Solution Provider (OSP) GmbH will give us an overview of well-known and lesser-known collegial decision-making methods. Using an example, we want to try these out with you and evaluate them. How does it feel, what are the pros and cons, and when can they be applied best? With this knowledge, you can support your teams in reaching efficient and clearer decisions.
Agile Organizational Development at OSP
Agile Saxony at OSP on the topic of cultural change in the Otto Group
Part 1 – Impulses Cultural Transformation 4.0 in the Otto Group Through the cultural transformation, every single employee is asked, encouraged, and empowered to contribute their own ideas. Managers act as equals, support the implementation of tasks, and promote the assumption of responsibility. That’s the vision. How did it come about? What were and are the biggest challenges? What might the track record look like so far? Where is the journey heading? As a member of the central cultural transformation team at the Group headquarters in Hamburg, Theo Boitor will give us some interesting insights. Agile Organizational Development at OSP Cultural transformation sounds great. But how do we do justice to the complexity of the issues ahead and create solutions that the entire company can support sustainably? If employees are able to participate in decision-making, we need different options for decision-making and shaping the organization. At the beginning of last year, OSP launched an approach to organizational development based on agile methods, which Vincent Tietz will briefly present. Other OSP colleagues will share their experiences and impressions with us. Cultural Transformation for Managers in Customer Service – Enthusiasm and Resistance Are managers always aware of the crucial role they play in such a change? Are they the brake or the accelerator – self-reflection and a learning mindset are required. Steffen Seidel will share his perspective with us, based on his role as Head of the OTTO-RelationCenter Dresden in the cultural transformation process. Part 2 – Panel Discussion In the second part of the evening, we want to openly discuss the challenges and opportunities of new organizational forms with you in a fishbowl format. You will help shape the composition of the panel.
